Uniondale High School Varsity Coach

Coach Diana’s Knights captured the 2004 and 2006 Long Island Class AA championships. The Knights also captured 5 consecutive Nassau County Championships from 2002-2006, and 10 consecutive conference championships. Tom has been chosen as Newsday Nassau County Coach of the Year and the New York Basketball Coaches association coach of the year, in addition he has coached the Nassau County Exceptional Senior, Top 100 and Coaches vs. Cancer All-Star Teams. He holds a Bachelors degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Physical Education, a Masters degree from Queens College in Physical Education and a Professional Diploma from Brooklyn College in School Administration and Supervision.  Tom is currently working as a Physical Education Teacher in the Uniondale School District.

 

Tom Fitzpatrick
Walt Whitman High School Varsity Coach

Coach Fitzpatrick’s Wildcat team captured back to back Long Island Championships in 2002 and 2003.Walt Whitman has also appeared as Suffolk County Finalists in 2000, 2001, 2007 and 2008. The Wildcats have also received the prestigious “Art Figiliozzi- Sportsmanship Award” from the Suffolk County referee association in 2001 and 2008. Tom has also been chosen as Newsday Newsday’s Suffolk County Coach of the year in addition to being selected to coach the highly regarded Empire State, Metro Classic and Lupus all star teams. He has previously coached at SUNY Brockport and at ST. Josephs College in Patchouge. Coach Fitzpatrick holds a bachelors degree from Suny Brockport in Physical Education, a Masters degree from Adelphi in Health Education and is currently working as a Physical education teacher in the South Huntington School District.
